¡Hello!, I’m Taína Almodóvar Gil. A very curious illustrator from Spain and the Dominican Republic. I love to illustrate characters, books and children toys.
I’ve made a master’s degree in Children’s Book Illustration and nowdays I work as an illustator with editorials from Latin America, Spain, United States and all over the world.
I’ve been the happy winner of some illustration Awards such as: Ibby Outstanding Books for Young People with Disabilities at Bologna's Book Fair 2023, Best Illustrated Book for Young Readers at Barcelona Book Fair 2023 and the Outstanding mention among the 10 best illustrated projects in Flic Festival in Barcelona.
Some of the books i’ve illustrated are: Let’s Sleep, Let’s Dream, Un día en la vida de Pichín, Animal armonía, Valentina sueña con los animales, ¿Cómo Alina se alimenta?, Somos buenos amigos, La Valiente Luli, Bebé Estrella, El hombre de color azul brillante and many more.
